What is Address Finder?
Ylopo will automatically search a lead's property address from public records using just their phone number, name, and email to append the address record to the leads.
The goal is to help our clients identify potential sellers from our buyer leads. Knowing leads currently own a home plays a big part in the buy/sell process and creates more value for our clients.
- Ylopo will programmatically search all the Ylopo-Initiated leads free of charge.
- This action will be performed within 15 minutes of the lead creation.
- Our agents can run this for their database leads with $0.10 per lead found through a support request.
- We will only search for the property the lead owned, NOT the property they lived in, which may or may not be the same address.

This feature is not available in Canada as there is no address data available.
What are the prerequisites to run Address Finder for your database?
- Leads must be imported into Ylopo Stars.
- The Ylopo Seller Experience must be active for your Ylopo License (this is on by default unless you have previously opted out).
- You must have the consent to send emails to the lead.
- The FUB address field under your lead must be empty, we will skip the lookup if there’s an address in the lead address field already.
- No Y_ADDRESS_FOUND or NO_ADDRESS_FINDER tag is applied to the lead.
What will be triggered if an address is found?
Once the address is found, we will automatically:
- Create a new seller alert with an AVM report using the address found.
a.b. An AI text will be sent to eligible leads who viewed the report.
- Add the property address to the FUB’s address field if it’s currently empty, labeled Address Finder.

3. Add a tag Y_ADDRESS_FOUND tag to the lead.
4. A Note will be applied to the lead:
There will be a [Address Finder] label in the stars seller details box indicating this address was found by Ylopo, not provided by the lead.
Note:
- No guarantee we will have an estimated value for their home in the AVM report.
What’s the process to lookup database leads?
- Leads need to be imported into Ylopo Stars already.
- Apply the NO_ADDRESS_FINDER tag to the leads before submitting the from if you want to opt some leads out from this look up process.
- You can use this Address Finder Request Form to request the lookup, we offer this service at $0.10 per address found, or you can check the Address Finder checkbox in our MLI (Mass lead import) Request Form.
There will be a one-time charge included in your current billing cycle.
FAQs
Q: How do I prevent certain leads from getting this email? I’m actively working with these leads and I don’t want any interruption to our conversation.
A: You can apply NO_ADDRESS_FINDER as a tag to the lead before we run the database lookup for you, that will prevent us from looking up the address for the lead.
Q: Can I get a quote before I run this lookup?
A: We won’t be able to do quotes. On average, we can find about 30% of database leads with an address but it really depends on your database data.
Q: What data is being used to get this information?
A: We use different online sources and public information to find the property address that match your lead’s profile.
Q: How accurate is this information?
A: There may be outdated information if your lead changed to a new phone number or has recently sold their home.
Q: Will I get refunded if it's a bad address?
A: No, but please let us know if there’s any inaccurate data.
Q: Is there criteria for who I can pull this information for example, Can I do this for purchased lists of leads?
A: There is no specific criteria, you can do it as long as the lead exists in your database and you have the consent to email/ call/text them.
Q: Will I be charged for leads that have an address out of my area?
A: Yes, it costs us to run the search for all addresses.
Q: Will I be charged to run address finder for previously generated Ylopo leads?
A: No, we will run address finder for free for our generated leads, new and past.
