We've been hearing from some of our clients that they are getting emails claiming to be from Squarespace and telling them that their site has "been cancelled" or is in "danger of expiration", typically followed with a request to update your billing. These emails however, are a known "phishing" scam and should not be clicked on or replied to.
Since we partner with Squarespace for some of our websites we wanted to make you aware of it.
We take your security very seriously and if you ever have a question about an email please feel free to forward it to us at support@ylopo.com.
Squarespace has written more about these emails here.
And lastly, as a quick rule, Squarespace will only email you from one of the following email addresses:
customercare@squarespace.com (Customer Care)
no-reply@squarespace.com or noreply@squarespace.com (Email notifications from your site)
no-reply@squarespace.info (Form Block submissions from your site)
messaging-bounce@opensrs.org (Squarespace Domains)
research@squarespace.com (Our Research team)
services@squarespace.com (Squarespace 5 billing notifications)
