The open house tool combines an advanced digital registration tool with the old school process of holding open houses. With diligent open house marketing on behalf of the agent, a regular stream of home buyers walks in and out of the home. This is an amazing opportunity to relationally connect but also become their go-to for all things real estate-related.
The Ylopo open house tool adds your visitors/registrants to the suite of Ylopo tools making you the go-to for all real estate-related questions.

The first step to using this tool is to create an open house registration page.
Step 1: Go to your Ylopo branded site and add /open-house to the end of the URL. Example: www.BrandedSite.com/open-house
Step 2: Input the MLS number of the house you are holding the open house for
Step 3: Select the agent holding the open house (this is powered by your team page)
Once you hit the “Create Open House link” button, a new page will load.
Tips on using this sign in form:
- Save the URL at the top as it will be the URL you use at the open house
- There is a “FullScreen” watermark in the bottom right. This is used to make your browser disappear and the sign in form fills the screen.
- When a visitor fills out the form, they hit submit and the data they have provided will load into your CRM and a Stars lead page will be created.
- After the visitor submits, a “Thank you message” will appear and a few moments later the form will reload to be used by another visitor.
Q: How does this work with my CRM?
A: This tool integrates with all CRMS except those with a one-way integration. The lead source in your CRM will show as Open House (Ylopo) so you can assign drip campaigns to this lead source.
Q: Is there a drip campaign for this lead source?
A: Yes. It should be in the shared library in both Lion Desk and Follow Up Boss (FUB). For Firepoint and Sierra Interactive users, you can request a copy of the Ylopo drips by contacting your CRM's support team. Other CRMs can request a copy from Ylopo at email@example.com.
Q: How do I change the questions on the form?
A: You need administrative access to your Squarespace site. If you type /config at the end of your branded site (ex: www.BrandedSite.com/config) you will be prompted to log in as an admin. Scroll to the bottom of the “pages” section of the website and select the form you want to edit. You can add questions with the responses in the form of radio buttons.
Q: Not all my agents show up on the list of open house agents. Why?
A: This means your agent does not have a Ylopo Stars profile linked to your branded site. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org so they can have the agent added.
Q: Do I need wi-fi for this?
A: Yes. Some agents use a cellular tablet, a tablet, or laptop with a hotspot from their cell phone, or some users use their cellphone as the sign-in tool. The tool works best on larger devices such as tablets because the lead forms will be easier to complete.
Q: Open House Lead was assigned to the wrong agent. What do I do?
A: A short-term solution is to reassign the lead in your CRM. You can either search for the “Open House (Ylopo)” source or search the tags for “open_house”. Please reach out to email@example.com if this persists.
Q: What device is it compatible with?
A: The tool can be used on any browser on any device as it is just a part of your branded website. Some have found for iOS that the app https://www.kioskproapp.com/ is best for using your tablet as a sign-in tool.
