Disclaimer: Please note that the Squarespace user interface undergoes regular updates, and as a result, the appearance of any video or article may differ from the actual user interface. However, the provided instructions will still be applicable and relevant to your Squarespace/Ylopo Branded Site experience.
This tool has been designed to give all Ylopo users the ability to showcase your website activity, buyer database, and marketing prowess to potential sellers and to help our users win more listings. Further, this is a non-admin accessible feature so agents can access this tool on their own at a moment's notice.
How to Access Your Buyer Heat Map
This tool is available to everyone.
Start by going to your branded website and after the.com put /heatmap at the end of the URL. Brandedsite.com/heatmap would be an example.
Step 1: Select team members. This will pull the list of all of the agents that have subdomains on the Ylopo site. This is similar to how the open house tool works.
Step 2: Put the address in that you are wanting to pull data on. One thing to keep in mind is that the address is populating while you’re typing. Make sure when you see the correct address below to click it with your mouse cursor, so the tool knows you've found the address.
Step 3: Type in the parameters that you want to search your database for. If you have a large database, you can get very specific with what you want to show. For those working with a smaller database, you can be more general to increase the volume of buyers that the report polls. For example, if I have a large database I can filter for only buyers in my database looking for a four bedroom. If I have a small database, I will want to be vaguer, so a wider search including all buyers in my database for any price with any bedrooms would be beneficial.
After you input this the data is pulled in real time and you’ll see the information in the tool. There are some optional sections that we want you to keep in mind.
Option 1: Is the database size. This is where you tell the homeowner how many people you have in your database or CRM. This is important so that you can showcase your ability to find buyers for the listing. If you don’t put the database number it will default to stating a “large“ database instead of a number.
Option 2: Have a custom background image. In the screen share video above you see where I find a picture of the potential listing and put it in dropbox and then put that dropbox link in the URL. By doing this it changes the background of the heat map report to be custom to the home. Remind this is optional and there is a default photo that is used if you don’t customize this photo.
The last optional part of the tool allows you to customize the text on the form.
