When looking at your Mission Control dashboard, you may notice that the amount of generated leads is not the same as the amount of distributed leads.
What does this mean? And how does it relate to your Ylopo cauldron? Here we break it all down for you.
Generated, Distributed, and Cauldron Leads
Ylopo uses your marketing budget to generate a steady stream of leads for you throughout the month. Each lead that clicks on an ad to your site is a generated lead.
- They have provided a valid email address, and a valid phone number format
- They have not been "filtered out" based on your Lead Filtration settings
In addition, any leads that have responded to an AI text message from Ylopo (regardless of filtration settings or whether they've provided an email address) will be distributed to your CRM.
Now some of the generated leads will neglect to provide either an email address or a phone number altogether when they're prompted to register on your site. With other marketing platforms, these kinds of leads are usually a sunk cost for you. However, with Ylopo, we intentionally keep these leads undistributed and in your Ylopo cauldron. We then nurture those leads so that we can try to get a proper email address, phone number, or alternate contact information for that person.
Ylopo Cauldron Q&A
Q: What kinds of leads are in the cauldron?
A: There are a few different instances that might send a lead to the cauldron. Leads who have clicked to see your search site but who have not provided the full amount of contact information to register (either phone number or email address) will be kept in your Ylopo cauldron. This includes leads who enter in a phone number such as (555) 555-5555. Leads who do not meet your specified lead filtration criteria will also be kept within the cauldron. For example, if your lead filtration level is set to filter out renters, any renter leads that are generated will be sent to your Ylopo cauldron.
Q: What exactly happens to a lead in the cauldron?
A: If there is a valid phone number for the lead, Ylopo's AI will text them and attempt to get their email address. For instance, one of the text prompts we send is "Is [firstname.lastname@example.org] still a good email for you?"
For leads who have a valid email address but no phone number, Ylopo will continue to send them Listing Alerts to continue to prompt the lead for an updated phone number. If the lead responds to the Listing Alerts, you will receive their response.
Regardless of what information a lead has not provided, Ylopo will cookie that person's browser and use remarketing technology to attempt to bring the lead back to your site to complete the registration process.
Q: How long are leads usually in the cauldron?
A: There is no set amount of time that the leads are in the cauldron. Ylopo will reach out to the lead via text message drips for a period of several weeks. If the lead does not respond, the drip will eventually stop.
In order to preserve email deliverability ratings, the Listing Alert emails will subside over a period of several months if the lead has not interacted with any alerts.
However, regardless of what information a lead has not provided, Ylopo will cookie that person's browser and use remarketing technology to attempt to bring the lead back to your site to complete their registration. This process will continue indefinitely.
Q: What happens when a cauldron lead responds to Ylopo's contact attempts?
A: If a cauldron lead responds to the Listing Alert emails, you will receive their response via email.
If a lead responds to AI texting from Ylopo, we will immediately distribute them to you.
Q: Can Ylopo distribute all my cauldron leads to me as is?
A: It is not best practice to distribute cauldron leads and we strongly do not suggest it. These leads are in the cauldron for a reason. We've found that nurturing these leads via the cauldron is the best way to elicit valid contact information. So let Ylopo chase down these leads; a much better use of your time and effort is to focus on your distributed leads and priority leads, as these are the people who are already demonstrating the most interest. Once valid contact information is obtained for a cauldron lead, the lead will be delivered straight to you.
