If you're using a Ylopo link to advertise on your own, you have full control over how many homes a site visitor can view before being asked to register on the site! To create the link, just go to your home search website(subdomain), which will begin with search. or your agent's name and perform a search for the homes you'd like to send or advertise. You'll see a very long URL in your web address bar, which you'll want to copy into another page.
You'll add these parameters at the end of the URL to change when leads are asked to register.
Each parameter will limit a different type of click on the site:
- pvl - photo view limit
- hvl - total listing view limit, with an unavoidable registration box
You'll replace X with the number of times you'd like them to view properties or images before seeing the forced registration
- ?pvl=X
- ?hvl=X
Please see the sample below: The lead needs to click on a property/listing once to get the forced registration box.
At this time, the forced registration in our Home Search Site Version 2 is unavoidable, if you'd like to remove the Forced registration you may either remove the registration form or revert to Version 1 of the Home Search Site. Here are the codes you may use depending on your purpose.
- &no_reg=1 - your leads won't be asked to sign up and this will allow you to remove the forced registration form. See the sample below:
- Combined ?lvl=X, &, app=1 (see sample below): This will allow your leads to view 1 property before getting the forced registration pop-up and have the availability to close the registration form. Please note this is only available in our home search site version 1.
- ?lvl=X - total listing view limit, with a removable registration box
- app=1 - allows you to return to version 1 of the Home Search Site
- & add the & sign if there will be 2 or more codes or parameters.
Finally, to make this long URL look nice and neat, we recommend a link shortener like TinyURL, bit.ly, or Goo.gl.
