How to Create and Edit Carousel (Photo) Listing Rocket Ads

Listing Rocket ads are both a great tool to win listings and a fantastic way to generate high-quality buyer leads! Ylopo automatically generates Listing Rocket ads for your own listings, and, if we have permission, your office listings. However, you'll still want to select which listings to activate!

Note: You must have permission to advertise any listing used for a Listing Rocket ad for compliance reasons. Dynamic ads include compliance related language that Listing Rocket ads do not.

This article will go over how to create Carousel ads, which show a series of photos of the listing being advertised. To learn how to create Dynamic Video (DyVA) Listing Rocket ads, click here.

To see your Listing Rocket ad options first, log into Ylopo Mission Control and click on the Marketing tab.

Scroll down to the Current Campaigns section, where Listing Rockets should be highlighted in green. Make sure that Carousel Photo Ads are underlined.

The Launch tab will show listings that we've picked up from your MLS for ad creation. To create a Carousel Photo ad from the listing, click the grey photo icon on the left.

That will bring up the window below, where you can select the Target Demographic for your ad. Click LAUNCH! in the bottom right corner and you're set!

If you don't see the listing you want to advertise, click Create Listing Rocket in the top right and select Carousel Photo Ads.

This will bring up a window where you can enter the MLS number or the Listing ID to find the listing:

About 5 minutes after you find and launch the listing, the ad will appear in your Inactive tab. Just click the black play button to activate it! the ad will be live for 30 days by default.

To see what your ad looks like, click View Ads (be sure to disable any adblockers on your web browser!)

This brings up the Summary Stats, which features combined totals for both carousel and DyVA ads for the Listing Rocket:

- The total number of people the ad has reached

- The number of times the videos were viewed (for DyVA Listing Rockets only)

- The number of times the ad was clicked

- The number of people who registered

- The amount spent on the ad

 

In the example below, we have a Listing Rocket with only Carousel ads.

 

To view the actual ad, click on the Ad Details button associated with each ad.

Then, click on the Listing Stage to see the ad associated with that stage:

For each stage, you can click on the Ad Photos and Ad Text tabs to edit the copy and photos shown in the ad. When you're done, just click Save Changes at the bottom.

Want to change your ad stage?

The ad stage is updated based on the MLS data we have available to us, so if your ad isn't yet in the right stage, one option is to wait for the MLS data to update. If you want to change the stage right away, follow these steps: 

1. Click on the desired stage and click on "Ad Text": 

2. Copy the Ad Headline from the desired stage: 

3. Return to the actual current stage, and paste the Ad Headline that you copied in the previous step. This ad will now appear identical to the desired stage ad.
